Student Allegedly Robbed by Man Claiming to Be Delhi Police Officer; ₹20,000 Forcibly Transferred

Khajuri Khas, Delhi. New Delhi: A shocking incident of alleged assault, criminal intimidation, and robbery has come to light from the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway near the Khajuri Khas–Bhajanpura area.

According to the victim, Ashu Jain, a student, he was on his way to Greater Noida when a car suddenly entered his lane without any horn or indicator, leading to a side collision.

Ashu Jain has alleged that the driver claimed to be a Delhi Police officer and threatened him with a gun. The accused allegedly forced him to transfer ₹20,000 and also assaulted him. The victim further stated that his driving license and RC were snatched during the altercation.

He also claimed that the accused stopped him again midway, slapped him, took his iPhone, and transferred the money to his own account. Somehow, the victim managed to retrieve his documents and vehicle and fled the spot to save his life.

Ashu Jain has alleged that he is facing difficulty in registering his complaint as the accused claims to be a police officer.
